What is Reliefta?

Reliefta is a plant-based complementary adjunct therapy that provides quick pain relief for a safe and sustainable solution for pain management.

How does Reliefta work?

Reliefta is scientifically formulated by utilizing multi cannabinoids, terpenes and other proven botanicals that interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system to modulate pain perception and inflammation.

Who can benefit from Reliefta?

Reliefta is a good option for those looking for safe alternative options from opioids, NSAIDs and steroids to assist with their pain management. Reliefta can help with various types of pain, such as chronic, neuropathic, musculoskeletal, post-operative and cancer-related pain.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is only one of the 100+ cannabinoids naturally produced by both the hemp and cannabis plant. CBD is highly therapeutic, non-addictive, and non-intoxicating.

What are the top 10 cannabinoids?
Top 10 Cannabinoids

  • CBC Cannabichromene
  • CBN Cannabinol
  • THCA Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid
What are cannabinoids? Are they all the same?

What is the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?

The Endocannabinoid System is the collection of receptors that receive cannabinoids produced by both our body and by plants. The ECS receptors are responsible for biological and physiological processes such as appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory.

Will CBD Get Me High?

CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning you cannot get stoned or high from using it.

What is Multi-Cannabinoid?

Our product is a blend that contains several essential cannabinoids: CBD; CBC; CBG; CBN  in a balanced profile to supercharge your endocannabinoid system.

What does Enhanced mean?

Our products are all enhanced with SENDS so they are fast-acting. This process is more costly to produce so most CBD products on the market today are not enhanced.

Say you consume CBD orally without this Technology. (like most CBD sold in stores) Because CBD is an oil-based xenobiotic (a foreign substance produced by another life form), it travels from your mouth to your stomach, then into your small intestine where most nutrient absorption occurs. However, the stomach and small intestine are designed to break down and absorb fatty acids – not oil-based compounds. The cilia in your intestinal lining despise oil-based compounds, with studies confirming a loss of up to 70% of the cannabinoid oil consumed.

Now imagine our CBD gummy powered by this Enhancement Technology. The oil can be absorbed into the phospholipid bilayer, coating internal human systems at any point in the process: while chewing, while traveling through your stomach, and, of course, in your small intestine. This process encapsulates cannabinoid oil molecules so that our cell walls eagerly absorb them upon contact. The result is  faster uptake and more of the cannabinoid oil consumed, providing more benefits.

Is CBD legal?

Yes, as of December 2018, hemp-derived CBD is protected under the Farm Bill Act of 2018. On a federal level, CBD products must contain no more than 0.3% THC (based on dry weight) to be legal.

How can I get Reliefta?

Reliefta is currently in the process of launching a pilot program online. It is not currently sold in stores. We provide free samples to patients and in return obtain patient outcome reports for the doctors.

How can I support Reliefta?

If you are interested in Reliefta and want to help us make it available to more people, you can join our network of like-minded individuals and institutions. We are also in those who with to perform studies here at the University of Maryland. If you would like to know more or have some additional time to discuss, please contact us.

Can CBD products ease pain?

Researchers have examined CBD for different kinds of arthritis; muscle aches; healing; sudden pain; and long-lasting pain. Mostly, these studies have found that CBD and placebo have the same effect on pain relief.

Can athletes use CBD?

The World Anti-Doping Agency and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency removed CBD from their lists of prohibited substances in 2018. However, various sports leagues and governing bodies have their own rules and regulations when it comes to use of CBD.

How are CBD products thought to work?

There are two kinds of cannabinoid receptors in the body: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are mainly found in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors are distributed throughout the body. CBD does not bind directly to these receptors, but it influences them indirectly by increasing the levels of endocannabinoids, which are natural molecules that act like cannabis in the body. By doing so, CBD may reduce inflammation and pain by altering the way the body responds to harmful stimulihtt

What is the outcome of eating too many Chews?

Taking too much CBD can have negative side effects, such as liver damage, drowsiness, diarrhea, or changes in mood. CBD can also interact with other medications you are taking, especially those that have a grapefruit warning.

You should always consult your doctor before using CBD products and start with a low dose and increase gradually until you find the optimal amount for your needs.

What are the symptoms that people who are sensitive to THC may experience?

Some people may be sensitive to THC and experience adverse reactions such as:

  • Anxiety, panic, or fear
  • Increased heart rate or blood pressure
  • Dry mouth or eyes
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Impaired memory or concentration
  • Hallucinations or delusions
  • Nausea or vomiting

If the symptoms are severe or persistent, seek medical attention immediately.

To avoid or reduce the symptoms of THC sensitivity, it is advisable to start with low doses and increase gradually and avoid mixing cannabis with alcohol or other drugs.

Are CBD products covered by Insurance, FSA or other Health care programs?

Currently CBD products are not covered by insurance, FSA, or other health care programs.

Is CBD oil the same as hemp seed oil?

No, hemp seed oil comes from the seeds of the hemp plant that have a lot of omega 3 and 6 fats – they are often used for food and beauty products.

CBD oil is also called ‘hemp extract’ and is made from the industrial hemp method that makes high CBD and low THC plants – this is what you get in CBD oil products.

How long does it take to feel the benefits?

Reliefta CBD can have different effects on different people. If you take a chew, you may feel it in 5-10 minutes and it may last for 4-6 hours, depending on how much you take. The rub will need more time to get through the skin. SENDS puts nutrients straight into the blood, avoiding most of the digestion system where some of it can be lost.

You should start with a small dose and increase it until you find what works for you.

How does CBD help reduce inflamation?

CBD may help reduce inflammation by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which regulates the immune system and inflammation

CBD may also affect the body’s cannabinoid receptors, which control the production of cytokines, the proteins that cause inflammation.

Why is it important to take Chew per day?

There is some evidence that CBD may help reduce inflammation by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system and cannabinoid receptors. However not all CBD products are created equal. Many are not fully absorbed, so not very effective. Our Chews are 100 mb strong and fully absorbed. Taking a Reliefta Chew per day is the best way to fight inflammation naturally.

Are the Chews sugar free?

They are not.

General Questions

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are a type of fat-like substances that are found in hemp and also made by other plants and the human body. They are the main chemicals that the cannabis plant produces.

Hemp can naturally create more than 100 different kinds of phytocannabinoids that do not cause intoxication. The most well-known of these is Cannabidiol (CBD). Some others are Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC), Cannabinol (CBN), and more.

Releifta’s Web extracts use a special mix of hemp’s phytocannabinoids, along with terpenes, flavonoids, and other beneficial hemp substances to help the body.

Cannabinoids have direct or indirect effects on the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is found in all living things except insects.

What is the Endocannabinoid System?

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a network of cell receptors in a mammal’s body. Scientists found this system in the 1990s.

Phytocannabinoids interact with the mammalian Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is a large receptor system that helps keep homeostasis and overall good health. * This receptor system is present in the whole body, including the immune system, the central nervous system, and many organs. The ECS takes in our body’s own endocannabinoids and the phytocannabinoids from hemp.

The ECS is made to support cells and healthy immune system function, in response to changes in our external environment. * A human’s ECS influences many parts of the body, including functions of the immune system, the central nervous system (including the brain), organs, connective tissue, and glands.

The ECS helps with various biological functions, such as energy & balance, immune function, memory, metabolism, sleep, and the function of the autonomic nervous system. *

Relieftas products are full-spectrum extracts that have a variety of beneficial compounds from hemp, including phytocannabinoids and other phytocompounds (such as terpenes and flavonoids) that work to support your body’s endocannabinoid system.

Adding cannabinoids from plants (phytocannabinoids) can help our body’s endocannabinoids, and the ECS’s main receptors, CB1 and CB2. This helps to keep proper balance.

What is the Entourage Effect?

The Entourage Effect is a term that was created in 1998 by two scientists from Israel to explain their results that using a mix of natural substances from cannabis is more helpful than using only one isolated substance.

Releifta’s products are full-spectrum extracts that have a range of phytochemicals. These helpful compounds have different phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.
